Philippe Klocanas - Co-founding Partner
Philippe co-founded Weinberg Capital Partners in 2005 with Serge Weinberg.
Before that, Philippe worked at Pinault Printemps Redoute from 2000, first as Director of External Development and then as a member of the Management Committee. He played an active role in refocusing the group on distribution and luxury goods through the sale of a number of assets (Finaref, Guilbert, Facet and PBM) and the acquisition of Gucci. In November 2004, he became Director of Strategy and Development at PPR and a member of the group's Executive Committee. In that role, he completed the sale of Rexel for €3.7 billion to the Clayton Dubilier & Rice, Eurazeo and Merrill Lynch Private Equity investment funds. He was also in charge of the medium-term plan and cross-functional activities (Kadeos and purchasing department).
Between 1998 and 2000, Philippe was assigned to CVC in New York, where he worked on the origination of LBO transactions in Europe after working in mergers and acquisitions at Natexis and Hottinguer & Associés. He began his career as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in 1986.
