Company overview

Founded by Dominique Louis in 1994, Assystem is an engineering company specialized in the management of complex infrastructure assets, particularly on behalf of the nuclear industry worldwide. As a long-standing strategic partner of EDF, the group provides services over the entire life cycle of nuclear power plants, from construction through to dismantling.

Our approach

As a key player in nuclear engineering worldwide, Assystem’s activities are central to overcoming the challenges of the current transition to low-carbon and cost-competitive power generation. The group lacked a strong and clear profile in the market due to its investments in Expleo and Framatome alongside its core nuclear engineering business. Our first priority was therefore to help Assystem gradually refocus on its nuclear engineering activities.

Key   figures

“Assystem’s mission is to help speed the pace of the energy transition worldwide. Taking an end-to-end approach, we are working to decarbonize power generation, transmission and distribution by actively contributing to the development of nuclear energy and renewables around the world.”
Dominique Louis – Chairman and CEO of Assystem

Making a difference

As the leading French provider of nuclear engineering services, Assystem is playing a key role in meeting carbon neutrality goals. In addition, the group has a CSR approach built on four other pillars: acting ethically, being a responsible employer, creating value for its clients as well as society, and managing the environmental footprint of the group’s activities.

ESG in focus

Assystem is a sponsor of the Women and Work All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG), a forum bringing together cross-party MPs who meet regularly to constructively examine and debate the role that policy makers can play to deliver gender balance within the UK economy.
