01/21/2025

Weinberg Capital Partners is pleased to announce the appointment of Marc Diamant as the Senior Director of WCP Co-Invest. Throughout his career, Marc has specialized in co-investment projects, enabling him to develop recognized expertise in this field. At Weinberg Capital Partners, he will manage the WCP Co-Invest fund, dedicated to this theme and fully subscribed by an industrial family group for an amount of 150 million euros.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and Paris-Panthéon-Assas University, Marc Diamant, 52, has built his career around co-investment, an area in which he has acquired leading expertise.

Before joining Weinberg Capital Partners, Marc spent 25 years at Société Générale and its subsidiaries. After a position in London, he joined Société Générale Capital Partenaires, where he successively held the roles of Investment Manager and Deputy Head of Private Equity. Marc led around a hundred operations in varied sectors such as healthcare, environment, and agri-food. Since 2012, he was a member of the management committee of the network’s investment bank, Corporate & Investment Banking.

At Weinberg Capital Partners, Marc’s role will be to identify and execute investment opportunities for the WCP Co-Invest fund, whether in collaboration with funds managed by the company or in partnership with other private equity actors. To carry out this activity, Marc will be supported by Samy Mezaache, Deputy Director, who has been with Weinberg Capital Partners since 2020.

By the end of 2024, WCP Co-Invest completed its first investment by acquiring a stake in Cosmogen, a primary packaging expert for beauty products, alongside the WCP#4 LBO fund of Weinberg Capital Partners and BNP Paribas Développement.

The creation of WCP Co-Invest is fully in line with Weinberg Capital Partners’ development strategy, which aims to double its size by 2030. Since its foundation in 2005, the company has demonstrated its ability to innovate by deploying new expertise adapted to investors’ expectations and entrepreneurs’ needs, thus consolidating its growth trajectory.

“Joining Weinberg Capital Partners to develop WCP Co-Invest is an incredible opportunity. The co-investment market is dynamic and presents numerous operations to be realized. I am convinced that WCP Co-Invest will quickly establish itself as a key player in this sector.”
