Pharma Omnium is a laboratory specializing in mature, well-known pharmaceutical products that are no longer heavily marketed but still have strong potential. The company thus meets a need expressed by government authorities, who wish to encourage prescriptions for less expensive drugs that retain their full therapeutic value among other approved medicines. Pharma Omnium’s portfolio includes six reference medicinal products. Its production and distribution activities are subcontracted to external partners. The company also operates a laboratory engaged in pharmaceutical research on treatments for infectious diseases, with a virology division and a bacteriology division.

Our approach

Weinberg Capital Partners assisted with the company’s acquisitions programme and the development of its research activities, supported in particular by the high profitability of its portfolio of mature products.

With our backing, the company made significant advances in laboratory research, particularly in bacteriology, with several of its projects selected for inclusion in research programmes across Europe and North America, or pursued jointly with major international pharmaceutical groups providing human resources as well as financial support, leading to validation and recognition for Pharma Omnium within the scientific community.
