BEST (Best Environnement Sécurité Technologie) is the European leader in the supply, rental and maintenance of asbestos removal equipment. Founded in 1996 and based near Douai in northern France, the company has a range of nearly 1,000 products along with a comprehensive service offering (after-sales service, rentals, specific tests, maintenance contracts, etc.). In 2015, BEST acquired Centra, a supplier of protective equipment.
BEST’s business activities are buoyed by regulatory changes that are beneficial to suppliers of personal protective equipment (PPE) and collective protective equipment (CPE). The company is the only manufacturer and retailer in its sector offering a complete range of products and services. Barriers to entry, notably the existence of a regulated market, protect specialist players like BEST.
At our initiative, BEST rolled out a network of clean rooms in 2017. In 2021, the company launched the in-house development and production of mobile decontamination units, connected negative pressure monitors and mobile site facilities.
