Philippe de Verdalle - Partner
Philippe joined Weinberg Capital Partners in 2015 to launch Nobel, the activity that acquires interests in listed companies. He headed the proprietary trading activity of CCF, which later became HSBC France, from 2000 to 2011, implementing a long-term friendly investment strategy focused on listed mid-cap companies. In that role, he assisted many companies, including Louvre/ Taittinger (1998-2005), IMS (2005-2006), Gemalto (2007-2010) and Ipsos (2008-2011). This activity was owned by a holding company called Nobel, a name subsequently reused by Weinberg Capital Partners.
From 2011 to 2015, Philippe was a member of the Management Committee of UBS France, where he was in charge of large private client accounts. During that period, he guided families with industrial assets through their planning process.
Prior to that, Philippe served as Director of Investment at CCF from 1995 to 2000. He began his professional career as a Financial Analyst at the Ferri brokerage firm in 1988.
Philippe is a graduate of the Institut d'Études Politiques de Paris and a member of the SFAF (French society of financial analysts) and holds an MBA from INSEAD Business School.
