Weinberg Capital Partners acquires a majority stake in Via Location
Weinberg Capital Partners announces it has acquired a majority stake in Via Location, the number two multi-brand, generalist rental company in France for commercial vehicles.
WCP’s investment is aimed at accelerating Via Location’s development on a dynamic market.
Serge Weinberg declared: “The rental market for commercial vehicles is growing thanks to a rise in road transport and the trend towards outsourcing of transport fleets by companies operating in France. Via Location, with an integrated national network, a full-range offering and high-quality services, is ideally positioned to respond to customer needs. We are very pleased to lend our support to the excellent management team of Via Location, which is perfectly suited to benefit fully from the market dynamics.
Nicolas Truelle, Chairman of the management board of Via Location, added: “WCP’s investment in Via Location represents a new step forward for our Group. It rewards the efforts undertaken these past few years to refocus our activities on long-term rental and to reinforce the structure of our network in France and Benelux countries. It will allow us to concentrate our efforts on the development of our commercial network.
