Philippe Klocanas

  • Philippe Klocanas started his career as an auditor for Arthur Andersen in 1986. Then, he joined Hottinguer et Associés’ investment banking division (from 1990 to 1996) and Natexis (from 1996 to 1998). Between 1998 and 2000, he was detached in New-York for CVC where he was focusing on sourcing European LBO deals.
  • He joined Pinault Printemps Redoute in 2000 as head of M&A and member of the Management Committee. He executed group restructuring on distribution and luxury goods through a major divestiture program (Finaref, Guilbert, Facet, PBM) and the acquisition of Gucci.
  • From November 2004, he was appointed VP Strategy and Development and member of PPR’s Executive Committee. As such, he executed Rexel disposal for €3,7bn to investment funds Clayton Dubilier & Rice, Eurazeo and Merrill Lynch Private Equity. He was also in charge of strategic planning and the development of cross-functional resources (Kadeos and Purchasing division). In 2005, he joined Weinberg Capital Partners as founding partner.
